General Policies

Successful completion of 103, 106, 107, 108, 109, or any higher-level math course with a grade of C or better fulfills the university math proficiency requirement for graduation. Mathematics courses must be taken each semester until the university mathematics proficiency requirement is met.

Mathematics courses up to 135 must be taken sequentially. Once such a math course is successfully completed with a grade of C or better, a student cannot repeat the same course or take a lower-level math course for degree credit.

Prerequisites for all courses offered by the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science must be passed with a C or better.

Please visit the departmental website for the most up-to-date information about major and minor requirements and current courses.
